Our happy place

We have been staying in this home for 3 summers now, and it feels like a home away from home. Steps away from the ocean, in a neighborhood with beautiful homes and landscaping. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and always clean.

Very good

This is our 4th year at this residence. The home is lovely but still needs some maintenance. Sliding doors don't always lock and hard to open and close. I know improvements are slowly being made which I appreciate. Location is perfect, a very easy walk to beach. The house accommodates my family nicely.

Fantastic Stay! Back soon!

We had a great stay in this house and there was plenty of space for our family. We were worried about the walk to the beach, but it was quick and easy! It was nice to have two fridges along with a drink cooler for all our items. Everyone in the community was welcoming and pleasant. Fireworks were a great time on the beach!
If anything, personal opinion, the tv guide was frustrating but the owners provided a list. I also found the extensive list online which helped. The big couch was plenty for our family, but could use a steam clean. Also, Brooms were provided, but a cordless vac would be a plus so we could clean fast throughout the week. The vacuum was a bit dated and clunky to drag around for quick cleanups.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I think we’ve found our new place! Thank you!!

Beautiful home!

This was our 4th year renting this home. It is large enough to meet all of our needs for our family vacation. The home is beautiful and it is nice to see the improvements made. Definitely, the sliding glass doors to the covered porch need to be fixed or placed as well as the screen doors.
Our stay was wonderful as always and looking forward to next year.

Vacation Stay

This is our 3rd year staying at this house. It fits our needs perfectly. It is so bright and cheery and a terrific house to relax. Every year has been a great experience. It is an easy walk to the beach.
Two years ago new owners took over and have been doing some nice work to fix things. New paint,new roof some new furniture but there are still a few spots where things need to be fixed, like the sliding door on a shower/tub and the sliding door to the porch is difficult to slide over but overall we have had a wonderful stay here and have signed up for next year.
This past year was the cleanest it has ever been. I didn't feel the need to re-clean the kitchen floor,or bathrooms. That was a very nice change.
Beautiful house and terrific layout of rooms.

Week at Pearl Avenue

Our week at Pearl Avenue was wonderful. The neighborhood of Ocean Ridge is beautiful and the house was lovely. Close to both the beach and the pool, umbrella and beach chairs included, lots of kitchen supplies, plenty of space on the porches (screened and unscreened). We couldn't get the DVD player to work and the Wilgus folks provided a new one right away - great service.

Great set-up all around!

Enjoyed this home more than I anticipated. Layout was great; esp love when top floor is living area (even w/o views). Bedrooms sizable, even the one billed as a “den”. Would be great if owner put bunks in the den. Twin day bed was fine, but two rollaways were dismal shape/comfort. One queen mattress definitely needs replaced; family members purchased two toppers after the first night to compensate.
Awesome proximity to private beach; community pool across Rt 1 (you cannot park unfortunately with baby, elderly but you can drive them across the street if necessary). Tons of deck space.
Beware a lot of stairs to kitchen/living area/master BR for less mobile people.
Easy drive to Bethany Bch & Rehoboth Bch (where we typically stay) shops & restaurants.
AC froze up one night due to inability to keep up with hot hot weather. Although the unit had been serviced the week before, the management company could not get an appointment until the week after our stay. Owner went out of her way to bring two new box fans to the home for our comfort. Yay! AC “fixed itself” the next day.
This house is great!
